Sarah Jane & The Blue Notes

     Sarah Jane steps from St Louis ,with her lush sultry voice in the tradition of a “red hot mama”,  along with the Blue Notes to bring you horn infused swingin’ hot jazz and St Louis blues from the 1920s to the 40s. The band specializes in forgotten songs from the era and sprinkles in a dash of some of everyones favorite standards. Sarah Jane and The Blue Notes are one of the most festive dance bands in St. Louis. It's a sound that seamlessly blends speakeasy, New Orleans dixieland,  Harlem night club,  juke joint,  big band swing with a touch of old time blues.

 

   Sarah Jane has been featured in Billie Holiday revues, torch song revues ,& The Great Ladies of Jazz Revue.  They are a favorite among local festivals and have performed  at Art Deco Weekend 2013, 2014,2015, 2016 & 2017 in Miami Beach, the Old Webster Jazz AND BLUES FESTIVAL, the Whitaker Music Festival, The Clayton Art Fair, The Benton Park Concert Series,The Glendale Jazz Festival, The Carondelet Concert Series in Fanetti Park, & The Maplewood Concert Series.

 

   It's a sound that's sure to keep any joint jumpin' into  the  wee hours. Sarah Jane and the Blue Notes are available for clubs, bars, restaurants, private parties, weddings, receptions and all other occasions of celebration.
